Your documents. Your device.
From file to finished
Work with PDFs on your Android phone or tablet, then save a new copy or share it with another app. Private PDF handles normal document processing on your device.

Open a PDF from Android
Choose a PDF inside the app, or open a PDF from another app using the Android open/share chooser when Private PDF is offered. Review the document in the reader, then choose the tool for the change you need. Keep the original until you have checked the exported copy.
Prepare documents for sharing
Merge PDFs in the required order, split a packet into smaller documents, rotate sideways pages, or remove pages that do not belong in the final copy. Edit PDF and manual redaction are also available. Compression reports the actual output size; it cannot guarantee that an already optimized file becomes smaller.
Use Android save and share actions after processing. The copy you save or send becomes available to the destination you choose. Private processing inside the app does not control what a recipient or another app does with an exported file.
Core tools and Premium
Existing free PDF tools remain available without a purchase. Premium includes additional workflows such as searchable PDF OCR, Bates numbering, statement extraction, and PDF comparison, together with ad-free access and premium support. Premium-labeled tools offer five finished results per tool on the device before a purchase is required.
Google Play handles the lifetime or monthly purchase and displays the current localized price and any eligible offer. Check the app purchase screen for the terms. Browser tools remain free independently of native Premium access.
Local files and network access
Normal PDF operations run locally. Store purchases, update checks, support links, optional analytics, and advertising can still use the network. Privacy choices and the app privacy policy explain those separate services. Closing a workflow does not remove copies you deliberately saved or shared.
Before you download
Can I use Private PDF on an Android tablet?
Yes. The interface adapts to phone and tablet window widths. Use the file picker to choose your document and review the result before exporting.
Does a web download install the Android app?
No. Use Google Play for the Android app. The website is a separate browser workflow and does not grant a native purchase entitlement.
Help when you need it
Keep the original file, review your exported copy, and contact us if something needs attention.
Working in your browser?
